The idea behind the Safety First 900 MHz Home Connection Baby Monitor is a great one. You get three dual channel baby monitors - ideal for families with two or more small children. It also comes with a pair of three-channel walkie-talkies, (each with a belt clip for portability) so parents can easily communicate in a two story home. Each piece is rechargeable (so there's no need for buying endless batteries) and has a convenient loop for hanging.
Aside from it's considerable cost, there are a few drawbacks to this baby monitor however:
While the baby monitors themselves function adequately, they are a bit noisier than other products. Like many baby monitors, they tend to produce static and may pick up interference from other electronics in close proximity.
The sound display lights are quite bright and flash at five second intervals when monitoring more than one room. In addition to that, the receiver produces static and clicking noises during transition from one baby monitor to the next. Lastly, you can opt to scan using just one baby monitor or all three, but not just two.
Despite the above limitations, the ability to scan more than one room at a time might make this baby monitor an ideal one.
